Snowy Engagement {Owen Sound Wedding and Portrait Photography}

What a gorgeous week we are having! The snow is 95% gone from our lawn, the birds are finally eating from our feeder and singing to entertain us and the kids are loving going out to enjoy the sun! I wonder if this is it? Doesn't feel like we had much winter...my husband didn't get called away for even one ice storm or huge power outage due to snow!!!

Before winter is long gone I thought I'd better blog this engagement session from a very snowy day. I was a bit nervous the day of the session because Laura and Travis were driving up from Guelph and the weather was a bit unpredictable. When they arrived it was REALLY snowing!! We went with it, being careful to shield camera equipment, and I think we have great results.

Perfect, snowy, fun and romantic...

Laura had a perfect hat!

This toboggan is from when Travis was a kid! Solid wood and lovely.

My favourites by the green doors, the snow is perfection!

Thanks for a great session guys! Can't wait for the big day when Melissa and I get to see you again. Hope you're having a good 'surprise' bachelor party in Boston Travis!!!!

Cheers, Christy

I'm back-ish {Owen Sound's healing photographer}

I'm Back!

Well almost. I am working on the computer today for the first time in a week. It'll be a short stint today as the kids and I watch Ratatouille....again. I'm hoping to finish up an engagement portrait and maybe even move on to a wedding. Oh, wait, yep, Luke just bit Madeline, guess I'm done for the day.

I'm back, for real, tomorrow and Thursday so if you've been waiting to hear from me it won't be long now!!

Cheers, Christy {& the kids}

Goodbye Gallbladder {Owen Sound's sick photographer}

Tonight is my last evening with my gallbladder, we're just hanging out watching the Bachelor. Although I've fought pretty hard over the past 5 years to hang on to it, I can't say that I'll miss it. With attacks happening weekly for a while there this winter I gave in, it is time.

Sooooo....

If you are looking for me this week or if I haven't gotten back to you promptly, this is why. Hopefully I'll be in and out tomorrow but I'm not sure when I'll be back to myself.

Please be patient, I'll get back to you when I can.

Cheers, Christy (and her gallbladder)
