After a long and busy season I am heading away for the weekend....much needed. I am heading to Melissa's cottage with 8 other female photographers from the area, it is going to be a blast!!! No kids. No husbands. No housework. I am going to sleep like a baby, well hopefully better then my baby.
So...if you don't hear back from me for a few days this is why.

Portraits @ the cottage {Pine Tree Harbour}

I love where we live! We live where people come to relax. I also love cottage life, everything is just so relaxed at a cottage.
I had the opportunity to join this lovely family at their cottage near Pine Tree Harbour in July. They have a little chunk of Lake Huron paradise right out front. We had a great time, they were a lot of fun.
The girls gave me the grand tour of the "front lawn" and play areas.
It was a bit chilly that morning, as most of June and July were, but some snuggles between photos kept everyone happy.
I love this one of all the girls!

Family Vacation to Sundrige, Ontario

With a long weekend off we had to come up with a plan! For the Labour Day weekend we headed north to spend some time with my cousin Jeff and his fiance Shannon. While there we had some four-wheeling fun with Madeline!
We took a day trip into our family hunt camp...way back in the bush. This is one of the nice viewpoints on the side of the trail.

Our family camp, very rustic....the wire is on the windows to keep the bears out.
Another day during our visit we went to scout locations to do Jeff and Shannon's wedding photos. They are getting hitched this coming August.

Family Vacation at Gillies Lake, Ontario

Here are some family snapshots from one of our most favourite places on earth. We try to go up to Gillies Lake at least once over the summer. Some R&R for me and some fishing for Trev and Maddog.

Catchin' Up-Canada Day in Owen Sound

Just hanging out at our place for Canada Day.
Our first time to Storybook Park, closer to the end of July.
Shari and Nathan had to take Madeline on some of the rides....I am a chicken and won't go on anything!
