When I’m scheduled to meet a couple for the first time, I usually have a list of ideas for location shoots. What really excites me is what happened upon meeting Lindsay & Chris…I show up, introduce myself, ask what they have in mind for their session. It’s when they say “what do you suggest?” that I really get excited!!! So not really sure how they’re going to respond, I say with confidence “Let’s go to a DOWNTOWN alley I have picked out just for you!”
…The best, is when they look at you without hesitation or fear and reply, “Sounds good, let’s go!”
I’m really on a structural kick at present, I like contemporary fashion-type shots, which isn’t for everyone! So I jump at the chance to expose my creative side and try new things with couples that are willing enough to trust me!
Thanks Lindsay and Chris, looking forward to the Wedding hope I didn’t freak you out too much with your location destination!

Portraits @ the cottage {Pine Tree Harbour}
Posted by: Christy
I love where we live! We live where people come to relax. I also love cottage life, everything is just so relaxed at a cottage.
I had the opportunity to join this lovely family at their cottage near Pine Tree Harbour in July. They have a little chunk of Lake Huron paradise right out front. We had a great time, they were a lot of fun.
The girls gave me the grand tour of the "front lawn" and play areas.
It was a bit chilly that morning, as most of June and July were, but some snuggles between photos kept everyone happy.
I love this one of all the girls!
Ah, the life....
Hope you guys had a great summer vacation, thanks for having me {and Hollie} over!

Wedding near Leith, Ontario {Greg & Nicole}
Posted by: Christy
What a great day for a wedding! This was my first sunny wedding of the season and it was on a Tuesday!!! I met Nicole and Greg just days before at their cottage ceremony site. They did a great job in getting it wedding ready.
I loved the decorated forest area where they had their dining room.
Um, nice "cottage"...they actually rented it for the week.
I had a great time guys, Thanks for having me out!

Owen Sound Wedding {Jacob & Melissa}
Posted by: Melissa
“Perfect timing” was the famous phrase of the day…
A beautiful ceremony followed by a fantastic photo session at a gorgeous old home on the outskirts of Owen sound.
As the session with this great Wedding party came to a close and I snapped my last frame, I literally dropped the line “that’s a wrap people” as the torrential downpour bombarded us en route to the reception hall!
Close call for sure, but right at a time where it didn’t disturb us a bit!
Congrats and thanks for the lovely day Jacob & Melissa!
