Baby M is no longer a baby! {Owen Sound Family Photographer}
I've been following/photographing this little guy for a while, a year to be exact. Melissa did his newborn and baby portraits and I finished up his first year of photos ending with this session at the park. It has been great to see him grow and change...almost makes me want more, almost.
We started off by taking advantage of a hillside of wildflowers. Then we moved around the park a bit ending with the playground for a quick play.
It was great to see you guys again, keep in touch!

Keith & Sarah's Big Day! {Owen Sound Weddings}
I'd been looking forward to this wedding for so long now. I did Keith & Sarah's engagement last fall and had a great shoot with them, even though one of my cameras decided to die that day (always carry at least 2!). I was also excited to be shooting at Stone Tree in Owen Sound for the first time since they've done some major upgrades on the property...it looks awesome!
The big day finally arrived and this gorgeous couple did not disappoint!
Love the new garden ceremony site at Stone Tree! We had some iffy weather with rain all morning on and off. It cleared for the ceremony but if you look close at the end of ceremony photos you will see rain and lots of it. There was a downpour immediately after they were introduced as man and wife.
After doing the family formals indoors due to crazy rain we headed over to the More Estate for some wedding party shots. It is a great spot for photos, in fact so great that we weren't alone that day. We came across a second wedding party with their crazy fun photographer {Nat} and decided to fight it out....soooo funny! The other group even had the same colour for bridesmaid's dresses!
We left the others behind and ventured a bit further into the gardens for photos of the love birds alone.
I had a great time despite the stress of rain, Thanks guys!

Fall Portrait?
Looking to do a portrait session during the fall season? Now is definitely time to book, especially if you are hoping for a weekend session.
I offer {premium} and {mini-sessions}. A premium session is a longer event and I come to you or meet you at a location of your choice. It includes all of the fully-edited digital files to print as you wish. A mini-session is quick session, on a set date, at a set location and includes 10 digital files to print as you wish. I try to have mini-sessions throughout the year.
This fall my {mini day} is September 25th at Harrison Park. I have 1/2 hour slots available throughout the day, email or call {519-470-3686} asap to book your time. This session also includes a digital Christmas Card to email or share with your friends and family and the option to purchase printed Christmas Cards.
These sessions are great for family, maternity, engagement, kids, baby, leaving the nest {teenager} sessions, couples or friends.

Tim & Stephanie {Owen Sound Wedding Photography}
I was so excited to do this wedding for a few reasons. For starters I know most of this crew, especially the guys. We've done two of the other groomsman's weddings so I knew exactly who the trouble makers were going to be ahead of time. The other reason for excitement is that Steph has great style...so classic!
We did a few photos at Steph's grandparents place out at Cobble Beach before heading to the ceremony site down the shore.
After the ceremony we headed to one of my favourite locations for photos...I've been there a lot this season but I'm still loving it!
I loved the dresses, my favourite fabric and POCKETS! Even the brides dress had pockets!
We really took advantage of the huge gardens and were only a few minutes late for the reception...sorry Tim and Rob (wedding planner)!
Rob & crew at Wilma's Flowers did a great job of transforming the Bayshore for Steph & Tim. Amazing cake & cupcakes, gorgeous chandeliers and yummy food by The Green Door Cafe!
Thanks for having me, more to come soon!!
Cheers, Christy

Durham Ontario Wedding {Wedding Day Photography}
I don't get to Durham area very often so I had to spend some time scouting locations for Lisa & Blake's Big Day! Lisa was planning the wedding from Nashville, she is a singer/songwriter, so there was a lot of internet communication between the two of us. We weren't sure where to do the after ceremony photos so I did some driving and happened upon a lovely farm that had a sold sign on it. A little investigating and we contacted the owners who were so pleased to let us use their new farm for photos...Thanks Heidi & Peter!
Some detail shots for the musician bride.
Lisa's little pup helping her get dressed!
One of the other locations I loved in Durham with the guys before the ceremony.
Then out to the farm!!
Love, love, love this field for their photos.
My favourite!
I had a great time guys, Thanks for having me!!

Sunny Walters Falls Wedding {Grey-Bruce Wedding Photographer}
Our area has really become a destination for weddings! So many of the couples I meet are not local and some don't even have ties to the Owen Sound area. This couple was definitely and example of this new phenomenon. Although Chanelle does have family in the south end of Bruce County, she and Quinton currently live in Flin Flon, Manitoba. Quinton is certainly not local coming from South Africa! So in this case and many like it I didn't really get to spend much time with them until the big day. Gotta love technology as it makes the process of planning via the internet (or interwebs if your a Bush fan) very easy.
The two of them decided on the lovely Inn at Walters Falls to host their big day.
Beautiful sunny and oh so HOT day. Good thing Meg and the crew had just installed their new air conditioning unit!
Up near the meadow.
The brave wedding party...that 'bridge' always makes me nervous.
Love this one of them!
The Falls...
This is Holly's photo, she was my second shooter for the day and did a great job as always.
We even had time to venture a bit which rarely happens on a wedding day.
And...the food....mmmmm, so good!!
Quinton is so far the best dancer that I've seen for a first dance!!!
Thanks for having Holly & I for your big day, enjoy!!
