I thought I should post a few recent photos of my love as I call her...my two-year old Madeline Grace. I don't want her to feel left out with all the Little Brother business.

She has "cheese" mastered!






She does this finger chewing all the time right now...more teeth coming in.




She seems like such a big girl now!

Mom to Mom Sale

For all Moms (and Dads) just wanted to make sure you know about this years "Mom to Mom Sale". The annual event is Saturday May 2nd, 2009 from 9 am until noon at the Shallow Lake Community Church.

Lucas James ~ Month # 1

Wow a few months can fly by when you're having fun...and sleep deprived! Our first month with Lucas was great, as you can see his big sister is loving him. So far, so good. We just need to figure out this whole sleeping at night thing.







I love the look on their faces in this one, they are so sweet together.

Spa Day at the Studio

Here are a few pics from our most recent spa day at the studio. Basically we have estheticians and a massage therapist come to the house and we take over the studio to get pampered, chat, eat and watch girly movies. I could use a day like this right about now!

Madeline was a bit unsure at first. She got a wee pedicure before heading out with Daddy.






Some of the crew, picking out their colour! You'll notice that my husband has taken over part of the studio...bowflex and treadmill. I think he is slowly trying to crowd me out.


As you can tell, this was just before Lucas was born, not sure how I got out of that chair.

My little girl is 2!

My little girl is growing waaaaayyy too fast! Here are a selection of images from her second birthday party...taken a few weeks before her little bro arrived. This is one of the first times she let me put in a hair elastic...she hasn't let me since. The photos at the end were taken the next day, kind of an after the madness photo session. We had a relax day at the house watching Dora and playing with all her new toys...and new princess underpants. We did a pretty good job of spreading all the new things around the room. She has taken over 500 photos with her new camera, I'll have to make a slideshow of them too.

Look at me go!!!! Blogging about something that happened TODAY! Oh, did I mention I have a one-month old baby and a two-year old? I'm pretty excited about this...can you tell?



My beautiful little Leprechaun, all set to go to Val's for some St. Paddys fun.


Cheese.


She even had green socks...they are Christmas socks but hey they have green on them.


Some of her recent craft projects from Val's and from playgroup.


I was working away today, or maybe feeding Lucas, when I heard these Leprechauns outside. The whole crew came over to drop off some green cupcakes to me, mmmmmm, yum.

Road Trip!

As my due date was approaching I decided that Madeline and I needed a fun day together before her new sibling arrived. We decided on a day trip to a play centre in Barrie, Ontario with Melissa and her little bean Jolie.

Here we are all loaded up in the new van. Snacks, check, movie playing, check, tea for moms, check!


We drove all the way to Barrie to find the play centre we had researched online was actually not open that day...despite their website hours! But we found another and played the day away with our girls.


Melissa had to 'rescue' the girls a few times, there was no way I was climbing in there...very pregnant.


The ride home was fairly quiet!!!



p.s. I can't recommend the hot dogs at this place, yuck.

Yet again, catching up!

Okay, I vow this is the last run of catching up...from now on I'm blogging as it happens, or close to anyway. These are some photos of our one child family during the Christmas holidays.
